I am passionate about artificial intelligence, cyber-physical systems, and robotics. I enjoy building novel but practical solutions for real-life application in the manufacturing industry.

Currently, I work with an extraordinary technical team as CTO, FLAIR and TD, INC in Hong Kong. Together, we create artificial intelligence technologies for tomorrow’s manufacturing operations.

Before moving to Hong Kong, I have co-founded two companies for drones/UAVs and data analytics. I worked on engineering projects with automotive, production equipment and manufacturing companies in Germany, Japan, South Korea, and China. I have been a researcher in mechatronics, sensor systems, and robotics at Fraunhofer, TUM, and MIT.

I hold a B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Information Technology, and a Dr.-Ing. (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from TUM. I also received an Honors Degree in Technology Management from CDTM.
